Christmas Cookies

Pioneer Pantry
Very Soft Sugar Cookies
2 eggs
1 cup soft butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1 cup sour cream
5 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. slat

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add in almond extract and sour cream. Sift all dry ingredients in. Roll and cut into shapes. May need to chill if dough is to soft to work with. Cookies are best if you don't over work the dough. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. do not brown.

Frosting

8 oz of cream cheese
1 lb. bag of powdered sugar (maybe more)
2 Tlb. butter
1 tsp. almond extract
and food coloring for decorating.
